The concept for this project was to "package an experience." I chose an emotional subject about a father leaving his family. Never to be heard from, the word of his death finalized his absence and turned the yearning of a resolution with his family into an illusion.
Sketches were scanned, printed on fabric and sewn into ties. Symbols reveal a narrative about loss, a period of unknown and hidden resolution.
